Muffle Furnace Operating Procedure

Silcarb is the most trusted brand name in manufacturing and supplying muffle furnaces  on the globe.Operating procedure of muffle furnace is very simple and safe, as mentioned below: ·          Ensure that the area is clean and the calibration due date of the temperature indicator is with in calibration period. ·          Switch the main power supply of the Muffle Furnace. ·          Bulb glows, which indicates the power supply to the instrument. ·          Set the required temperature by 3 switches provided on the panel. ·          Push switch ·          Two potentiometric knobs (Coarse and Fine Knobs) ·          Press PUSH SWITCH and simultaneously turn the COARSE knob clockwise or anticlockwise near required temperature and then turn FINE knob to set exact temperature. ·          Release the PUSH SWITCH. ·          Reset the instrument in case the temperature exceeds 1160 ° C. ·          Enter details in usage log book after completion of analysis.
